Better, Not Bigger: Unlocking the Space You Already Have
What if your home already has the space you’ve been dreaming of—you just can’t see it yet?
Shower, Bathtub or Both
For this bathroom remodel, the focus wasn’t on adding square footage—it was on using it better. By combining functions—merging the separate tub and shower into one cohesive space—we reclaimed valuable room and created a layout that finally breathes. The original “Barbie-sized” shower stall felt tight, cramped, and short on elbow room. Reimagining that footprint made all the difference.
Ceiling Height
Storage still mattered, but not at the expense of comfort. Every decision balanced practicality with openness. Removing an underutilized niche closet and extending the ceiling height to its full potential didn’t just add inches—it transformed the entire experience. The result is a bathroom that feels larger, lighter, and far more inviting—with space not just to store, but to actually breathe.

Masculine but Light + Airy
The aesthetic was equally intentional. A light, airy Scandinavian-inspired foundation—soft seafoam tones, light woods, and natural brightness—was paired with darker fixtures and accents to create contrast and depth. This balance served as a thoughtful compromise between the male(s) + female occupants, blending a softer, more tranquil feel with bold, grounded elements that add a sense of structure and sophistication.
Every detail was considered, from smart storage solutions to the finishing touches that make daily routines feel elevated.
This project is a reminder that sometimes the biggest upgrade isn’t more space—it’s better space. By combining functions, opening volume, and designing with both lifestyle and aesthetic in mind, we created not just more room—but a space that feels effortlessly livable.
