We simplify remodeling for busy families —delivering thoughtful design, seamless planning, and expert craftsmanship.

From Concept to Completion —One Team, One Seamless Process

Every great renovation needs two things: someone who knows how to build it, and someone who knows how it should look and function. Luckily for our clients, we happen to be married. We’re a husband-and-wife team bringing two very different (but very complementary) skill sets to every project—reliable construction paired with a passion for interior design, functionality, and organization.

Our Process

Simplified Design. Seamless Build.

We collaborate closely with homeowners from the start, integrating design and construction under one team to simplify decisions and maintain clarity throughout. We begin with space planning to improve layout, flow, and functionality, ensuring the design fits your daily life. Once finalized, we guide material selections and budgeting, handling sourcing and coordination to keep everything aligned and ready. With a clear plan in place, we move into construction with an organized timeline, consistent communication, and full project management—finishing with a detailed walk-through to ensure every element meets your expectations.

Thoughtful Design. Skilled Craftsmanship.

We have had so many great experiences with MAC Renovations! Our basement renovation completely changed our lives and our kitchen remodel was the best investment we ever made. Our home is quirky and it took a lot of creative planning to make it all work. We also love color and wanted a kitchen that was more moody and eclectic….MAC made it all come together. Great communication, pricing & quality. We are dreaming up a new house project now and they were my first call.

Jess & Paul completely transformed our home. What started as an idea to upgrade our kitchen turned into a project that elevated the entire first floor. We knocked down walls, installed wood beams & hardwood floors... and the outcome was more magnificent than we could have dreamed. With Jess's design expertise and Paul's craftsmanship, it was easy and even fun to work with them from start to finish. They are down to earth, good and fair people who will be straight with you. Would hire them again in a heartbeat!

MAC Carpentry + Design deserves the easiest five stars I’ve ever given.

They were in my home for weeks doing two full bathroom remodels, and not once did I feel stressed, inconvenienced, or unsure of what was going on. That alone says everything. I’m very busy and from day one, Jess completely understood that. She knew exactly how to communicate with me with clear updates, the right details, never overwhelming, and always two steps ahead. It felt like she was managing the project and managing my sanity at the same time.

The work is stunning. You can see it in every single detail.
•	The gorgeous warm brass fixtures that line up perfectly
•	Custom shelving that fits the space naturally
•	Painted paneling, trim, and crown molding
•	Thoughtful storage touches

The space looks cohesive, soft, warm, timeless, and intentional. Their attention to every last detail is beyond compare. Nothing was rushed, nothing was halfway done, nothing was “close enough.” Even the things I didn’t know to look at, Jess and Paul noticed and made sure every last detail was perfect. They truly cared about it all.

I have to say having contractors in your house for weeks can be awkward with the wrong people. This team was the exact opposite. They were respectful, kind, organized, and clean every single day. They put as much attention into the prep and they did the finished product. They felt trustworthy from the start, and that gave me so much peace of mind in the middle of my already chaotic life.

MAC Carpentry + Design transformed my home. They made the process smooth, they made it manageable, and they made it beautiful.

I would recommend them a hundred times over and I genuinely can’t wait to work with them again.

MAC Carpentry offers the full package from design to build! I have not only used the group for my real estate clients, but have also used them on my personal home too. They have great attention to detail and communicate very well during the process. Excellent group and highly recommended.
